Dr. Alexandra Jenkins is excited to be joining the Dermatology of East Texas team.

Born and raised in Austin, Dr. Jenkins completed her undergraduate education in biomedical science, graduating with honors from Texas A&M University. She then went on to earn her medical doctorate from UT Health San Antonio where she participated in medical missions and discovered her love for dermatology. After graduation, Dr. Jenkins completed her internship and dermatology residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. During residency she received awards for her leadership and quality improvement initiatives and was selected as the chief resident during her final year.

Dr. Jenkins practices medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. She enjoys treating patients of all ages and is committed to providing comprehensive, compassionate care for all of her patients.

With strong family roots in East Texas, Dr. Jenkins, her husband, and daughter are thrilled to be joining the Tyler community. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family, exploring new restaurants, and traveling.
