Author’s Note
Sophie and Khyber are the Lowry Family dogs. Sophie came to us as a rescue from Louisiana, Khyber as an 8-week old puppy.  We have overcome behavioral issues with Sophie, and now she is the happiest of dogs, with a true zest for life. Although covered with inoperable tumors, she lives each day with gusto and joy. Khyber, our younger male, is truly her side kick, and they are inseparable. We take each day as a gift, and they remind us to love unconditionally and with all your heart.
